30-Year Anniversary With Recognition
of Sebastian Chuwa's Years of Service

Malahai Club 30-year Award
The Malahai Clubs of Tanzania held ceremonies in Arusha on March 13, 2011 to celebrate their 30-year anniversary. As a founding patron of the clubs, which operate in secondary schools in Tanzania, Sebastian Chuwa was honored with a commemorative plaque.

The organization was established for the purpose of creating environmental awareness in youth. Its objectives are to:
• Inspire and educate the people of Tanzania, especially the youth, about the environment in totality;
• Increase the awareness and understanding of the economic, cultural, scientific, and aesthetic values of our living natural resources;
• Promote a spirit of conservation and wise use of land, so that people can live in harmony and benefit from one another for centuries to come.
