Young mpingo seedlings in the polythene seedpots. These transplants have several layers of secondary leaves and are about 2-3" (5-8 cm) tall. They are watered and shaded under the sunscreen shading of the nursery shelter building, of which there are two, about  8 m. x 26 m. (26' x 84') each.
